For twenty five years, I have been licensed as a Marriage and FamilyTherapist in California and I have successfully treated hundreds of clients in my psychotherapy practice. From the time I was fifteen I knew I wanted to study psychology and have a profession that helped people feel better about themselves. I have a BA in Psychology from Sonoma State University (via UC Davis and study in England) and a MA in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. My work is enriched by a thirty year spiritual practice. Along the way of my professional journey I have studied many types of therapy and have come to realize that what works is what works for you so I bring a multiplicity of approaches to my practice. Compassion, acceptance and forgiveness are cornerstones of our work together.
I am very interested in complimentary medicine, wholistic treatments and the interface between mental health and nutrition and exercise.
I balance my professional life with time with family, time in the garden, time in nature, and time in meditation and reflection. I love to read, hike and travel.
